Indulge in a no-expense-spared summer soirée to remember as the sun goes down on midsummer.
Join us for a typically English affair as we bring decadence to the banks of the River Tiddy. Inspired by Lord Peregrine Eliot, the tenth Earl of St Germans, this al fresco feast lets you enjoy the extravagances and eccentricities of the English aristocracy, with garden games and dips in the river.
Perfect fine finger-food meets Mrs Beeton for a spread of English classics served on tables dressed with peonies and candelabras. Kick back with a cup of tea or a glass of fine wine beneath twinkling fairy lights. Bring your bathing suit if you fancy a swim… and don your dancing shoes as the evening slips into decadent live music.

Gather your friends, loved ones or colleagues together for a festive feast night in sumptuous surroundings. This promises to be a magical music and food-filled festive evening, Port Eliot style.
Your evening begins with warming mulled wine by the fire in our welcome yurt, before you proceed to the main event: a decadent three course dining experience in the estate’s 19th Century orangery.
Decked with stunning traditional Christmas décor and lit with candles, a festive feast of locally caught meat and game awaits. Expect locally sourced food and drinks, an Amélies signature, such as Cornish smoked mackerel with lime and ginger; sirloin of roasted beef with a port gravy; and Armagnac Christmas pudding. After the meal we’ll kick back the tables for a night of live music and dancing, with carriages at 11.30pm before you turn into a pumpkin!
